About the Role:
Excellent opportunity for a Clinical Documentation Specialist to join our team supporting 6 aged care homes.
This role is responsible for leading and optimising AN-ACC funding outcomes by ensuring resident classifications accurately reflect care needs, maintaining high-quality clinical documentation, and supporting care teams to improve assessment and documentation practices.
The role works closely with Managers, Clinical Care Coordinators, Clinical Staff, and Support Office teams to monitor, analyse, and report AN-ACC outcomes while supporting compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards.
What You’ll Do:
Lead AN-ACC processes and assessments across 6 homes
Improve funding outcomes through accurate clinical documentation
Coach and mentor clinical teams on best-practice documentation
Analyse and report AN-ACC performance to key stakeholders
Collaborate with leadership teams to support quality care outcomes
Manage correspondence with AMOs, the Department of Aged Care, and Health officials
Ensure documentation and software systems remain accurate and compliant
Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality systems
What You’ll Bring:
Current AHPRA registration (RN or EEN)
Strong AN-ACC knowledge and clinical assessment skills
Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills
Passion for aged care quality and continuous improvement
Strong financial acumen and administration skills
Ability to work independently and in a results-focused environment
Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for travel between homes

Requirements:
Current AHPRA registration (RN or EEN)
Current National Police Check
Australian working rights
Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Strong understanding of AN-ACC funding rules and quality systems
High level computer literacy and administration skills
